Busy areas with loud background noise – railway stations or airports, for example – can be quite a challenge already for normal-hearing people. For persons with hearing impairments, the mixture of sounds and noises in public places can create acoustic barriers that make conversations or hearing important announcements impossible.
An easy solution to the problem is Commend’s specially developed line of induction loop amplifiers for
barrier-free communication. They can transmit any sound signal over the Intercom system directly to hearing aids for clear reception across any sound barriers. For wearers of hearing aids this means optimum intelligibility in high Commend speech quality in any situation, from talking with the person at the ticket counter to catching passenger announcements at the airport or railway station.
Application environments: Railway stations, airports, customer service desks, ticket vending machines, help points, doors and gates, shutters and barriers, and many more
