In this relationship, Commend will become a preferred technology hardware partner for Genetec end-users with its globally deployed intercom system, leveraging session initiation protocol (SIP) for superior voice and video over internet protocol (VOIP) communications.
With integration into Genetec Security Center, a unified security platform that seamlessly blends IP security surveillance systems within a single intuitive interface, the Commend Intercom Control Systems will allow Genetec end-users to install useful VOIP and analog intercom and video connectivity within any facility.
Security Center end-users will be able to benefit from Commend’s range of SIP terminals, which take SIP technology to a whole new level by enhancing it with Commend’s powerful call management, customization and security features that incorporate 40 years of experience and perfection.
